Can8ianben's Blog

This is a blog about me. I'm sure it will at some point talk about the things that I love... that being, my wife Meredith, family, friends, EMU, the Jays and baseball, the Maple Leafs, music, art, TV, biking, and whatever else is going on in my mind.

Ben's Ballpark Quest Update

After my recent northwest trip, my goal to visit every ballpark in the major leagues has changed. This season saw me lose two of these parks as both New York teams opened new stadiums. They have been added to my "No longer in use" list and have been removed from the other list. Safeco in Seattle has also been added to the list bringing my total up to 17.

Here are my updated ballpark stats:

No longer in use:

1. Municipal Stadium, Cleveland Indians
2. Tiger Stadium, Detroit Tigers
3. RFK Stadium, Washington Nationals
4. Yankee Stadium, New York Yankees
5. Shea Stadium, New York Mets

Still in use:

1. Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome), Toronto Blue Jays - dad took me to my first game here.
2. Progressive Field (formerly Jacob's Field), Cleveland Indians - mom's family is from Ohio
3. Comerica Park, Detroit Tigers
4. Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore Orioles
5. Great American Ballpark, Cincinnati Reds
6. Fenway Park, Boston Red Sox
7. Citizen's Bank Park, Philadelphia Phillies
8. Turner Feild, Atlanta Braves
9. PNC Park, Pittsburgh Pirates
10. Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas Rangers
11. Angel Stadium, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
12. Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles Dodgers
13. Nationals Park, Washington Nationals
14. Petco Park, San Diego Padres
15. AT&T Park, San Francisco Giants
16. McCaffee Coliseum, Oakland Athletics
17. Safeco Field, Seattle Mariners
